Aubrey hodges biography

Since 4th November 2008 Aubrey Hodges is Director of Audio at 38 Studios.

Before joining the company he served as the Audio Director at EA Tiburon since 2003.

There he worked on several popular franchises such as Madden NFL Football, NCAA Football, NASCAR, NFL Street and Superman Returns. Before coming to EA, Hodges worked as Audio Director, Composer and Sound Designer for Midway Home Entertainment for 10 years.

Hodges began his career in audio for videogames at Sierra-On-Line in 1991.

With his music and sound design heard in more than 180 video games, he is considered an audio pioneer in the video and computer game industry. Hodges is credited as among the very first to use MIDI in a video game, the first to use sound effects in an online game and among the first to use General Midi in a video game.
