But, that ostensible show of liberation turned out to be a delusion as the narrative soon drifts into a usual plot line around a wife who finds out her husband’s extramarital affair and therefore has such a dramatic confrontation.

But disappointingly, it turns out that the whole confrontation was imagined by her and we don't really know if she brings it up with him. So much for liberation!
